GLOBAL ACCOUNT MANAGER, LIGHT METALS DIVISION

Are you interested in working within automotive industry in a key role, taking Light Metals Division´s business to the next level? We now strive to strengthen our sales team and are searching for a Global Account Manager.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Global Account Manager (GAM) you have the overall responsibility for ensuring the sales, profitability, customer contact, pricing/economical parameters and contracts within your dedicated customers. Furthermore, you are responsible for business development with new customer acquisition and extending product fields as well as in marketing issues. You work closely together with the rest of the Sales team, as well as Engineering, Controlling and other functions within the LMD organization.

Main responsibilities include;

  • Independent work in all commercial activities world-wide, such as understanding the customer needs, developments, requirements and keeping close contact with the customer and ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Ensuring the sales, profitability, updated pricing and growth of the dedicated customers.

  • Perform in contract, claim and pricing negotiations with the customers.

  • Work within the framework of the company rules, IATF 16949, VDA regulations and customers’ demands and contracts.

  • Independently organizing and performing business trips to customers in addition to customer visits on-site.   

 YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in sales functions within automotive industry

  • University degree in economics, sales and marketing, or have acquired similar knowledge.

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. German is preferable.

  • Knowledge and experience in IATF 16949 and VDA6.3 as well as SAP, MS-Office and MS-Project.

You are an independent high performer, driven and motived by setting targets and exceeding expectations. Managing complex projects and multi-task are something that you thrive in. You are a strong communicator with excellent negotiation skills. You are able to build trusted relationships at a high executive level and conduct complex contract discussions, including technical challenges, together with the team.
